Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Fairbanks Saturday, July 15th , 2084 After spending most of the season well back of the division leaders, the Fairbanks Goldpanners made it official today, becoming mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. Fairbanks last appeared in the postseason in 2061. This is their 23rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 86 times in their 95-year history. Fairbanks last won the League Championship in 2051. |
