Geneva Halts Moore's Hitting Steak Wednesday, July 12th , 2084 The 20-game hitting streak is over. Hoxie Scots second baseman Nick Moore failed to get a hit against the Geneva Greens and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 22-year-old went 0-for-1 in his club's 4-3 victory over the Greens at Scots Ballpark. "I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." Moore is batting .340 this season in 81 games with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 150 at-bats. |
