Hitting Streak Still Alive for Moore Tuesday, July 11th , 2084 Nick Moore, second baseman for the Hoxie Scots, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 7-2 victory over the Hillsboro Ensigns at Ensigns Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Nick Moore singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year, Moore has hit at a .342 clip with 23 RBIs, 6 home runs and 26 runs scored. |
