Vader's Season Could be Over Monday, July 10th , 2084 The season is finished for Tim Vader of the Orlando Sword Swallowers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Sword Swallowers starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Mastic Beach Polecats. Team doctors said it would take at least 8-9 months to heal. In 13 starts this year, Vader has recorded a 3-0 record and a 4.10 ERA. |
