Herra Belts 5 Hits Friday, June 14th , 2086 It was a downpour of hits for David Herra at Ballpark of Baton Rouge. The Baton Rouge Grapplers shortstop tore into Grand Blanc for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace the Grapplers to a rain-delayed 19-1 victory. Grand Blanc manager bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Herra's big day. "He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Herra was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame." David Herra hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 7th.
