Red Dragons Tomoshino Out of Action Wednesday, May 22nd , 2086 The doctors have spoken and Okahito Tomoshino of the Toledo Red Dragons didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Tomoshino sustained his season-ending injury during the Lake Dalecarlia Saxons game yesterday at Ballpark of Toledo. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Toledo medical staff reported Tomoshino had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months. For the season, his stats show Tomoshino has no saves in 10 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 8.76 ERA. |
