He hurled the Salt Lake Stingers to a 5-0 shutout victory, yielded 2 hits and chalked up 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. "A complete-game shutout is fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen." Blake has taken the hill for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-3 record with a 4.78 ERA.
