Ono Bashes 5 Base Hits Thursday, June 1st , 2084 Masaaki Ono said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Trois-Rivières Park, and it showed in the box score. The Trois-Rivieres first baseman had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Paradise Gecko, leading his club to victory, 5-4. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Ono said later." Masaaki Ono singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Armando Sandoval in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
