Seals Catcher Withers Hurt Monday, May 29th , 2084 Victoria Seals catcher Ben Withers left yesterday's game against the Scott County Cougars after suffering a torn posterior cruciate ligament running the bases. Withers was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Withers is expected to miss 9-10 months. This year, Withers is batting .303 with 36 hits, 4 home runs, 10 RBIs, 14 walks, .373 OBP and has scored 14 runs. |
