Louisville's Nitta Will Miss Season Sunday, April 21st , 2086 Kunihisa Nitta at first refused to leave today's Saint Paul-Louisville game after he suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Louisville starting pitcher said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Nitta out of action for 6 months. |
