Estevane Slams 3 Deep for Lake Dalecarlia Thursday, April 11th , 2086 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Saxons Ballpark buzzing, Lake Dalecarlia Saxons center fielder Izzy Estevane blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 13-4, over the Toledo Red Dragons. "Everything was clicking," Estevane told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Estevane shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Saxons manager said. "Izzy played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Izzy Estevane hit a solo-shot off Eddie Sandoval in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Eddie Sandoval in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Okahito Tomoshino in the 7th. So far this year, Estevane is batting .500 with 3 home runs. |
