Hit Streak for Lozoya Reaches 20 Wednesday, August 8th , 2085 The number just keeps getting higher. East Lansing left fielder Omar Lozoya has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 3 at-bats as the East Lansing won the game, 1-0, over the Glendale Beachcombers at Ballpark of Glendale. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Glendale manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Omar Lozoya grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th and singled in the 7th. This season, Lozoya has hit at a .371 clip with 63 RBIs, 17 home runs and 68 runs scored. He has played in 105 games. |
