Plano Wins Alpha Conference Crown Wednesday, August 8th , 2085 Tom Wellon said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Plano Elephants teammates were so excited to celebrate their Alpha Conference championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 86-26 record on the season. It is the club's 28th Alpha Conference championship and puts them in position for their 19th RSL Single A championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," the team's skipper said, pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
