Boylan Hitless, Streak Ends at 20 Saturday, August 4th , 2085 Todd Boylan's 20-game hitting streak was snapped at Bulldozers Ballpark. The 21-year-old Gilbert Bulldozers left fielder failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats in the game against the Madison Sky Warriors, but Gilbert came out the winner, 2-1. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Todd," Bulldozers manager said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." For the season, Boylan is hitting .336, batted in 26 runs with 7 home runs and 64 runs scored. |
