Season Possibly Over for Reece Nielson Monday, July 30th , 2085 Reece Nielson will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Hillsboro reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Nielson was injured while throwing a pitch in the Ensigns-Grapplers clash at Ballpark of Baton Rouge recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured bicep tendon and would be out a minimum of 6 months. This season, Nielson has accumulated no saves, registered a 6.34 ERA and struck out 86 in 88 innings. He also has a 0-11 record in 8 relief appearances. |
