Arlen Bayer Lost for Season Tuesday, July 24th , 2085 Arlen Bayer of the Ensigns just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Hillsboro reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Plano Elephants recently at Ensigns Ballpark. Bayer suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Ensigns medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. Here are his stats for this season: Bayer has chalked up 1 save and fashioned a record of 0 wins and 1 losses with a 4.28 ERA. He has made 14 relief appearances, thrown 27.1 innings and struck out 22. |
