Madison Second Baseman Nets BC Award Monday, July 23rd , 2085 A hot-hitting week got Miguel Solis the Beta Conference Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Madison second baseman slammed them for a .667 average, 12 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In the postgame press conference, Solis shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." Currently Solis has 4 home runs and a .282 batting average. |
