Year Over for Blues Brown Friday, July 20th , 2085 The season is ending on a bad note for Barnabas Brown, second baseman for the New Orleans Blues. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Brown was hurt against the Mastic Beach Polecats while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a torn meniscus and will be out for at least 4 months. Thus far this season, Brown is hitting .259 with 9 home runs, 44 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 81 hits in 313 at-bats and has played in 85 games. |
