Rhodes Week's Top Player Monday, July 9th , 2085 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Gilbert second baseman Reece Rhodes. He went on a rampage last week against BC hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 23 at-bats for a .478 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 3 runs and scoring 7 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Beta Conference Player of the Week trophy. Rhodes was honored today at a press conference. Rhodes is hitting .238 for the season with 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 69 hits in 290 at-bats and played in 75 games. |
