MacDonald Batters Toledo for 5 Hits Saturday, June 30th , 2085 Shreveport third baseman Grant MacDonald had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Toledo Red Dragons at Ballpark of Toledo as the Blackbirds picked up a win, 5-4. "He was patient up there," Shreveport skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. MacDonald has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Grant MacDonald singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, singled in the 11th and flied out in the 13th.
