Yatabe Blanks St. Louis, 4-0
Friday, April 13th , 2085
Yoseikazu Yatabe was in a mood to talk following the Shreveport Blackbirds contest against the St. Louis Hammers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Hammers, 4-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Yatabe said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The left-hander blanked St. Louis on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 5 strikeouts.
