BC Presents Top Pitcher Trophy Monday, September 10th , 2085 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2085 has been announced and the Beta Conference winner is Salvador Romero of the Newport News Herons. With a record of 10-3, Romero was certainly a worthy winner. He made 19 starts and rang up 126 innings, 146 strikeouts and a 1.64 ERA. He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 30. Dave Guppy of the Saint Paul Saints finished second in voting, while John Thomas of the Henderson Terrors finished third with 3 first place votes.
