Dymond Slaps 5 Hits
Sunday, August 22nd , 2083
Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Lexington Partisans shortstop Colin Dymond, who missed the team's pre-game session at Sudbury Grounds but peppered the Sudbury Astronauts for 5 hits come game time. The Partisans went on to grab the 12-9 win.
"I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often."
Colin Dymond hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ismael Vasquez in the 8th.
To date this season, Dymond is hitting .258 with 16 home runs.
