Saint Paul's Feliciano Will Miss Season Friday, August 11th , 2084 Angelo Feliciano at first refused to leave today's Sault Ste. Marie-Saint Paul game after he suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Saint Paul reliever said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Feliciano out of action for 6 months. Feliciano has nailed down 2 saves for the year. He has also totaled 33 strikeouts and 13 walks in 30.2 innings while registering a 4.70 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record. |
