Season May Be Over for Lights Glacken Saturday, July 20th , 2086 The Marfa Lights learned that Austin Glacken is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Sault Ste. Marie Dukes. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be bone chips in his elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Marfa manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Austin is back in action." This season, Glacken has compiled a 2-3 mark with a 2.62 ERA in 10 starts. |
