Clyde Hill Eliminated from Playoff Contention Monday, August 7th , 2084 It won't be a season to remember for the Clyde Hill Cyclones, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Cyclones were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2084 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Clyde Hill starting pitcher Kazuhisa Okabe. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2080. In total, the Cyclones have missed the playoffs 39 times in their 40-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cyclones have only made the playoffs once. |
