Bob Morris Will Miss 5-6 Months

Earlier today, Saint Paul reliever Bob Morris had to leave the game against Honolulu because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has shoulder inflammation and will miss 5-6 months of play. Morris was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians.
For the year, Morris has 40 relief appearances and a 1-4 record with 25 saves. He has logged 35.2 innings and allowed 40 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .286 batting average against him. Morris has rung up 31 strikeouts, surrendered 21 walks and fashioned a 5.30 ERA.
