BC's Premier Batter Picked Tuesday, August 1st , 2084 Alex Cervantes may be much younger than other hitters in the Beta Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Marfa left fielder hit .406 with 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored. For the season, Cervantes is currently batting .355 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs. In 67 games he has reached base at a .502 rate and scored 32 runs to date. |
