Fremont Reliever Hurt Thursday, July 4th , 2086 When Kerry McQuown was hurt against the Tulsa Metalheads, the Fremont Leeches were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 26-year-old reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that McQuown would miss 15 months of the season. McQuown's record this season is 3-and-1 with no saves and a 2.59 ERA. He has given up 34 hits in 41.2 innings with 25 strikeouts. |
