Newport News's Beavers Sidelined for Season Tuesday, July 25th , 2084 Newport News Herons starting pitcher Kyle Beavers left yesterday's game against the Henderson Terrors after suffering a ruptured tricep tendon throwing a pitch. Beavers was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Beavers is expected to miss 5-6 months. This year, Beavers has worked 110.1 innings with 117 strikeouts en route to a 6-6 record and 2.37 ERA. |
