Oceanside's Plesh Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Sunday, July 9th , 2084 Bob Plesh really sizzled at the plate in his team's 8-1 win over the Anchorage Longbows. The Oceanside third baseman blistered Anchorage for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Plesh was too tough to get out today," the Longbows skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Bob Plesh hit a solo-shot off Won-hyung Kim in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
