Shane Moog walloped 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Marfa Lights in a career day at Ballpark of Newport News, but it was the Newport News Herons who won the ballgame, 7-4. "My swing was really, really there," Moog said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-5 and losing is better than 0-for-5 and losing, right?" Shane Moog doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
