Worcester Reliever Out
Monday, May 6th , 2086
The doctors have spoken and Chris Knight of the Worcester Commodores didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Knight sustained his season-ending injury during the Henderson Terrors game yesterday at Terrors Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Worcester medical staff reported Knight had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.
Knight's record up to now is 0-and-0 with 1 save and a 2.02 ERA. He has given up 21 hits in 13.1 innings with 11 strikeouts.
