AC Star of the Week Picked Monday, May 6th , 2086 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Fremont second baseman Marco Barocio. He went on a rampage last week against AC hurlers and rapped out 12 hits in 19 at-bats for a .632 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 5 runs and scoring 4 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Alpha Conference Player of the Week trophy. Barocio was honored today at a press conference. For the season, Barocio is hitting at a .357 clip with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and has scored 11 runs. He has 25 hits, 4 walks and a .400 on-base percentage. |
