Newport News's Alex Sanchez Injured Sunday, June 4th , 2084 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Herons when after today's game against the Terrors, the club found out they would be without the services of Alex Sanchez for at least 5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Sanchez was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn labrum. On the season, Sanchez has compiled a 1-0 mark with a 0.00 ERA in 0 starts. In pitching 7 innings he has 11 strikeouts and 3 walks while limiting the opposition to a .120 batting average. |
