Alex Collazo Rockets 3 Home Runs Wednesday, May 24th , 2084 Sometimes it just isn't enough. Alex Collazo had an outstanding day at The Kennel for the Rockford Bulldogs, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Bulldogs fell to the Binghamton Blues, 6-4. Collazo had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 24-year-old first baseman banged out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 4 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Bulldogs were not able to hold off the Blues. "Baseball is a funny game," Collazo said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Alex Collazo struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Freddie Pye in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Freddie Pye in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Cesar Ortiz in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
