BC Star of the Week Chosen Monday, May 15th , 2084 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Beta Conference Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Mark Echeverria for his great week at the plate. The Anchorage left fielder took home the trophy by banging out 11 hits in 26 at-bats for a .423 batting average, driving in 12 runs and scoring 6 times. This year, Echeverria is hitting .328 with 12 home runs and 38 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .432 clip and scored 27 runs. |
