Davis Cook Out for Season Sunday, April 30th , 2084 After the end of today's game between Oceanside and Tulsa, Davis Cook skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Barnstormers had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The starting pitcher will miss at least 4-5 months with bone chips in his elbow. Up to now Cook has compiled an ERA of 10.45 with a 1-2 mark over 3 starts. He has 11 strikeouts in 10.1 innings and has held opponents to a .370 batting average. |
