Wakefield Gets 6 Hits Tuesday, August 14th , 2085 Adam Wakefield did a number on the Blues in the 16-7 Pawtucket victory -- and the number was 6. The Patriots left fielder banged out 6 hits in 7 at-bats at Schooner Field to lead his club past the Binghamton Blues. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Adam Wakefield singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Antonio Silva in the 9th.
