Blanco Fires Shutout in Sudbury Victory Thursday, August 9th , 2085 In an excellent mound performance, Estevan Blanco of the Sudbury Astronauts blanked the Worcester Commodores, 10-0, on a 1-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Sudbury hurler rang up 11 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Commodores manager . "Blanco did a good job keeping us guessing." To date, Blanco has a 8-7 mark in 21 starts with a 3.38 ERA.
