Cyclones Won't Get Playoff Berth Tuesday, August 7th , 2085 Mario Valenzuela said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Clyde Hill Cyclones after they missed the RSL Double A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Cyclones have missed the playoffs 40 times in their 41 years as a RSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2080. In the last 10 seasons, the Cyclones have only made the playoffs once. |
