BC's Top Hitter Announced Wednesday, August 1st , 2085 David Zavaca made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Beta Conference this past month. The Sudbury Astronauts second baseman shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old hit .339 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This year, Zavaca is batting .338 with 71 hits, 16 home runs, 55 RBIs, 21 walks, .401 OBP and has scored 43 runs. |
