Dukes Mathematically Out of Playoffs Tuesday, July 24th , 2085 It's back to the drawing board for the Sault Ste. Marie Dukes. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Sault Ste. Marie last appeared in the postseason in 2078. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 86 times in their 96-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Dukes have only made the playoffs once. Sault Ste. Marie has won the League Championship 2 times in their history. |
