Playoffs Won't Happen for Counts Tuesday, July 17th , 2085 Not even the most diehard Montgomery Counts fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Counts were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. The Counts have missed the playoffs 89 times in their 96 years as a RSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 24th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2061. |
