Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Rockford Sunday, July 15th , 2085 Did anyone think the Rockford Bulldogs had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Bulldogs have missed the playoffs 84 times in their 96 years as a RSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2076. In the last 10 seasons, the Bulldogs have only made the playoffs once. Rockford last won the League Championship in 2032. |
