BC Star of the Week Named Monday, July 9th , 2085 Clyde Hill Cyclones left fielder Mateo Jorritsma had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Beta Conference named him Player of the Week. Jorritsma banged out 10 hits in 18 at-bats on the way to a .556 batting average. He also racked up 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This season, Jorritsma is batting .329 with 8 home runs. His totals include 37 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
