Newport News's Repking Bags BC Top Batter for June Sunday, July 1st , 2085 Preston Repking made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Beta Conference this past month. The Newport News Herons third baseman shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old hit .443 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 23 runs scored. In 72 games this year, Repking has posted a .357 average and put up these numbers: 16 home runs, 65 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
