Keiichi Murata Injured, Out for Year Saturday, June 2nd , 2085 Keiichi Murata will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Salton City second baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Murata was injured while colliding with a player at a base in the Naturals-Lights clash at Miami Beach Park recently. Doctors said he has a concussion and would be out a minimum of 10 months. This season, Murata has banged out 42 hits in 157 at-bats for a .268 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .375 pace and his totals also include 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
