May's #1 Batter Announced Friday, June 1st , 2085 Victor Betancur is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Saint Paul center fielder joined that select company when the Beta Conference announced the results of May's voting. Betancur totaled 35 hits, 18 walks, 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored last month to put together a .376 batting average and .478 on-base percentage. This season, Betancur is batting .359 with 27 RBIs, 32 runs scored and 6 home runs. |
