BC Announces Best Player Award Monday, September 24th , 2085 The manager of the Lincoln Traders said he thinks Armando Salvat is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2085 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Beta Conference Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .322 batting average and a .395 on-base percentage this year. In 117 games he piled up 151 hits, 19 doubles, 4 triples, 20 home runs, 69 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 30. Leonardo Ruiz of the Santa Ana Broncs finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Jesus Pena of the Akron Pickets finished third with 4 first place votes.
